Behind the Scenes

Who are we?

Just two regular women working in our community.  We are moms, wives, business owners, and friends to many in our home town of Okotoks.  We are busy, but what fuels our passion is the strong desire to see local makers, creators and curators showcased in our community in a fun & vibrant setting.

Yes MarketSquare is a part time endeavor for both of us. And yes, a strong focus of each of our events is to raise funds for the Okotoks Food Bank.  Our goal for 2017 is to raise $50,000!  Why do we do MarketSquare beside our businesses?  It's for fun ... and for a great cause.

Adriana Bratu trained and worked as a biologist, but now runs a successful residential & commercial painting business.   Fun fact about Adriana? She moved to small town Okotoks ten years from one the biggest cities in the world, Mexico City!

Andrea Wilton-Clark trained and worked as an urban planner for fifteen years, but switched gears ten years ago and is now a successful real estate investor and local Realtor.  Browse through Andrea's website or   Fun fact about Andrea?  She was involved in the concept design of three new subdivisions in Okotoks, two of which are now built and third is about to break ground! Ask to see some of her original sketches for what back then was simple farmland and now is perhaps the neighbourhood you live in!

Both Adriana and Andrea love new ideas, creative minds & passionate people.  And they love cappuccino ... so if you want to chat, connect with them any time!
