HPIM2250 Paintings in Pastel or Acrylic - Pet Portraits - Landscape - Wildlife - Equine

Inspired by nature and wildlife, Michelle’s subjects consist mainly of animals. She finds that working with Pastel provides great ability to create a realistic “soft fur coat” look and feel; especially when applied onto Suede Mat board, which allows an almost endless layering ability and effect. Michelle’s keen attention to detail is evident in her portraits of pets and people, where she portrays a true likeness of the individual.

To add diversity to her work, Michelle has recently been practicing a “looser” style, using Acrylics. With her love and appreciation of horses, she is combining more equine and landscape paintings to her portfolio.

Michelle is originally from Saskatoon, SK. She now resides in Okotoks, AB., where she also works providing Gel Nail services to a number of local clients....which combines well along side of her true passion to paint!
