Okotoks MarketSquare was founded in 2011 to provide a platform for local creators to share their work, build Okotoks' local business community, and provide community events for local-lovers near and far!

13 years later, MarketSquare is best known for its annual Spring Fling Market, Summer pop-ups, and Okotoks Christmas market! MarketSquare is in its third chapter of ownership and continues to support local business through events, collaborations, and partnerships.

For Market Shoppers
Is there an entrance fee?
Indoor markets are $5 (Free for children 12 and under!) and outdoor markets are always free!

What kind of vendors do you accept?
MarketSquare markets focus on providing something for everyone! We curate vendors with a jury process based on the following criteria:

High Quality: Vendor’s work is professionally crafted + thoughtfully designed

Keepin’ it local: Vendors are Alberta-based with an emphasis on foothills makers, bakers, growers, and creators

Uniquely Handmade: We’re all about providing a platform for you to showcase your talent, not someone else’s! We do not accept MLM’s or products designed and manufactured outside of Canada.

Something for everyone! We curate + jury our events to maximize variety and minimize direct competition for vendors.

If you meet our criteria but didn't get into our markets this time, don't be discouraged! Apply again and we'll try our best to make room for you at the next one.

What is MarketSquare's cancellation policy?
All markets have a non-refundable deposit + cancellation policy outlined in your vendor acceptance email. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 30 days of the event. MarketSquare events are rain or shine!

Do you offer any discounts?
We offer discounts for young entrepreneurs (17 or under on event day) and non-profit organizations! Additionally, at every market, MarketSquare selects one non-profit organization in the community to support with a no cost table.
